Biography: Growing up as the son of the head councilman of Iwagakure, he had his life set out for him, he would grow up to be a political advisor to the Tsuchikage when he grew up. Until... On the night of his 12th Birthday, his father received a letter in the mail, that againsed the council's wishes, the Tsuchikage had sent 4 Iwagakure ANBU agents to start a war between Kusagakure and Iwagakure, because the Tsuchikage knew he could easily take Kusagakure, but he didn't think about Kusagakure's allies, Konohagakure. As it was, his father went out after the ANBU, he knew of course this was a suicide mission, but it was better for the people of Iwagakure. After Takai got word that his father had died, he chose that he would not become a political figurehead, he would be a ninja, and one day kill the man who killed his father.
While training through the ranks, he developed a strong power to connect the Katon Ninja Art with the Doton Ninja Art creating a Lava Type Ninjutsu.
